Competitive Sports Academy is proud to announce that we are one of the 10 teams who have been selected to participate in the first season of the new

OBA G-Elite Basketball League for High School girls.

Ontario Basketball has launched a new competition structure for high school girls’ basketball at the club level – the G-Elite League.

The league will feature Junior (U15/U16) & Senior (U17/U19) teams.

This new league is designed to provide young female club athletes with an inclusive, exciting, safe, and competitive platform. G-Elite aims to bridge the gap between OBL-X and OSBA, elevating the standard of play and empowering young athletes to develop in their game within the club structure of OBA. With OBA’s unwavering commitment to excellence, the league seeks to develop talent and skills.

Format

• There will be 10 Junior teams and 10 Senior teams. Each category will be split into 2 pools of 5 teams.
• Teams will play a total of 13 guaranteed pool games and 1 guaranteed championship game.
• There will be 6 weekends in the season. 5 weekends of regular season games and 1 weekend for the championship weekend.
• The first 3 weekends of the regular season will consist of games within each pool. The last 2 weekends of the regular season will be a cross-over pool games.
• The championship weekend will be an OSBA bracket style championship format. Teams are guaranteed 1 game.

**Girls who are currently on an OBA/OSBA team may also participate in G-Elite**
