3 on 3 House League

Co-ed | Ages 8-12

As with starting anything, learning to play basketball means there will be a learning curve.

From rules to basic skills, techniques to game plays, it can all feel like information overload, especially for kids playing on a court with 9 other kids.

3 on 3 helps give kids the opportunity to play the game with much less structure than a typical 5 on 5 game while learning specific skills in a fun and engaging way. In 3 on 3 there is more opportunity for each player to get the ball in their hands. Having more time with the ball means the player will improve much more quicker than if they were playing 5 on 5 and hardly getting to touch the basketball.

In 3 on 3 games there are no real positions so every player has to react to what's going on in the game. This helps kids develop skills like defence, offence, spacing and how to move without the ball and not rely solely on drills to teach them.

Afterall, the game is the best teacher!
